Our Story
We grew up in a family that loved to eat. Snacks, sugary drinks, and processed foods were staples in our diet and considered completely normal. However, as we got older, various health issues began to catch up with us, ranging from common colds and allergies to more serious, life-threatening illnesses. In our search for solutions, we discovered how food directly impacts health and quality of life. We realized that food isn’t just something to enjoy; it has the power to heal, protect, and nourish.
While traditional medicine can treat symptoms, food addresses the root causes. As Hippocrates, the father of medicine, famously said, "Let food be thy medicine." But what kind of food? Ideally, it should be real—whole, unaltered, or minimally processed—packed with nutrients that nourish the body and fuel it for optimal function. We’re not advocating for perfect diets; we still love our treats! In fact, we’ve learned that food shouldn’t be categorized as “good” or “bad” because all kinds can be enjoyed without guilt. The key is being more mindful of our choices and finding better options whenever we can.
We understand that access to healthy food can be a challenge, especially in our country. That’s why we started Go Whole — with the goal of providing cost-effective, healthier alternatives not just for ourselves, but for the entire Filipino community. Additionally, we aim to support Filipino farmers by sourcing most of our raw materials locally and encouraging the cultivation of natural resources for wider access.
We hope you could join us on this journey and discover how eating smarter can help you live better and experience an improved quality of life too. It’s a lifelong commitment, but it will definitely be worth it!
